Biography

Philipp Bernhard better kown as Calipo is a Crossover Rap/Metal artist from Germany. With his heartfelt lyrics, passionate vocals, driving beats and genre switching sounds, he tries to stand out from the crowd. Calipo writes his music from a very honest and personal perspective, crafting engaging stories about his own life and experiences. To catch the listernes and guide them directly into the lyrics, so they can relate and reflect the songs to themselves, is one of his most important goals.

Calipo was born on December 5, 1990. He discovered his passion for music as he was only ten years old, playing the guitar and doing vocals. As a child born and raised in the 90s, his main influences were many artists of the Alternative Rock, Numetal and Metal scene just like Hiphop, RnB and Industrial of the 90s and early 00s.

Calipo experienced the Metal scene over a decade long and played in many bands since his teenage years. He is best known as the former frontman of Neberu. 

After this long journey he is finally back with new genre blending music.
